To all those who paint their planes,
Would this Air Compressor be enough, for me to paint my Q40´s ?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

It should work OK for airbrushing. Consistant air pressure and volume is crucial for a good paint job. I doubt that this compressor will deliver either. You would be better off with a portable unit that has a tank. Buy a regulator and moisture trap too. Harbor Freight tools has everything you need to get started. Here is what I would recommend:

This compressor will provide plenty of air for airbrushing and a larger touch up gun for clear coating. I have been using this regulator for several years with great results. My compressor however, is extremely large, as I paint full scale planes with it too!

RE: Air Compressor for airbrush painting??
What kind of gun are you using? A small single/double action airbrush, a touch-up gun or paint spray gun? In my opinion, you'll need a touch-up gun for painting airplanes bigger than a 25 size. Unless you like doing a lot of small artistic details and refilling your airbrush.
Doug's right: it might work OK for an airbush, but the larger guns will need more consistant air pressure. In that case (and for better results), your better off with a compressor with an air tank, regulator and water trap.
