RE: Swea pea
Hi Guys, If the wing has my name, can I claim the airplane as mine???? (kidding) The airplane is very nice. How bad is the paint? Bruce told me about the wing being quite stained. The fuse design is a lot nicer than my polecats!!!!
Best regards

Julio, I liked your response to the pic, glad your not pissed at me using the wing, I will be happy to fly it as is if you don't mind, however I can paint over the name and number if it bothers you. I posted the photo to see how long it took for word to get around, ( didn't even tell Bruce ) did you see it yourself or were you told about it? The aircraft goes good! I hope Bruce can get a few of them over there racing.

This aircraft is available from Big Bruce Racing.[link]http://www.bigbruceracing.com/
I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Just think how fast we could go with 15% nitro and hand-laid up carbon props like the Aussies.
I'm assuming you're one of the Harrod brothers...wich one are you? The one that went with a group of us to the night club in Sweden after the world champs or the other one?
Cool looking airplane!

G'day Gary
Actually we both went to the night club that night, the van ride was a little rough.
I'm Karl the one that called for Bruce in Sweden. My brother Frank was on the Aussie team in 2003 & 2005.

Ok Karl, I remember you going, but don't remember Frank going, but I'm not surprised considering the festivities that went on that night! The drive to the airport and the plane right home the next morning were a little rough, haha. Bundaberg was the last Champs I've been to, calling for Jaime from Mexico, although hopefully I'll be going to Germany next year
Lee, It's probably similar to the Polecat and Loki as far as moments. I think it's an optical illusion because the tail looks a bit larger than normal.

Hey guys,
How long before we see a Q40 world champs?
The class seems to be getting very popular world wide, as well as the Phoenix race seems to be getting a lot of international competitors.

We can have a Q40 Worlds as soon as someone host''s a contest. Just label it the "Q40 World Championships".... but don''t replace F3D with Q40. I too enjoy the struggles of F3D. Q40 is easy to do, and everyone can do it. It''s more gratifying to achieve something that is difficult, knowing that not everyone can do what you do. No amount of money can make you good in F3D. You can buy your way into eveything you need in Q40.

Actually, we already have a Q40 Worlds..... Look at last years AMA Nationals. Muncie every year. Other countries participate all the time. And with AMA becoming less involved in our Nationals (except to collect money), maybe we should start moving it around the country/world and change it from the Nationals to the Worlds.

RE: Swea pea
Sweet Pea looked very fast, unfortunately Jerry had an aileron servo go funky on him on Friday and he made a great save by crashing it softly. He fixed it up and raced well. I don't think he placed in the top 10, but it was definately competitive.
In fact, I thought several of the new Jett LS motors were very impressive. Helsel did a 59+ heat, Gabrial and Dub were fast, and my slightly older LS was competitive in most heats but I cut too much.
