Default Q40 Engine

Hi there, can anybody tell me is it a good thing when flying my Q40 pylon racer to let it run out of fuel,
or when finish a race to use the shut off to shut the engine down. I do use a bladder tank.

Your probably a little better off just shutting it down right after the 11th lap. When the tank runs out, it does start to go lean, but it really isn't that long, and it doesn't get all that hot.

However, these things only have so much life in them, and if you can cut 30 seconds off each run by shutting down early, it will help extend their lives.
