Default Question on Q40 tank plumbing

I need someone smarter than me to explain running the fuel lines on this motor mount with the needle attatched. I have seen people use fuel dots and had all fuel lines internal. I was supplied with a Jett tank and it already has a fuel line installed and I dont see a way to add one to fuel it? I would like to put the shutoff between the motor and needle, is this correct? Please Help!

This is the first Endeavor with a Jett in it , It looks like it fits good but had to do a little modification to it. This is the airplane that was given away at the basin race and will be done for the Whittier race in October.

what you are going to have to do is put a fuel tee between your fuel shutoff (which will be before the needle valve assy) and the tank. use a fuel dot to remove the air from the bladder with your fuel sirnge (sp) and full the tank. you will also need (should) to install a fuel clams between the needle and engine to make sure fuel is shut off to engine.

Dave,

Here's how I did it on my Vendetta.. It's Lyle's mount but the same idea.. So, I have the fuel outlet split with a mini filter then through the fuel shut-off.. I did it this way so I could fuel it without having to close the fuel shutoff with the radio.. From there it goes around the mount and into the bottom of the remote needle and then up to the engine.. Does that make sense?
