This is a special thank you to Barry and all the good folks at the 'Basin' for working with me in my effort to get back to racing in Ca. yesterday. Allowing me to 'plant' a wheelchair at the starting line for the day and to use my 'Old Man E scooter' for motivation. Also thanks to fellow competitors for putting up with the somewhat unusual arrangement.

Although we are a small venue in RC it just goes show what a wonderful group you all are.

Thanks everybody

John

Hi John

I flew in that race as a 9 lapper. I didn't see anything to "put up with" The wheel chair certainly didn't get in the way. I did think about borrowing the scooter to haul my old butt back and forth in the heat and I could of used the wheel chair to keep from tripping over my own feet when rounding 2 an 3.

John:
Thanks for the complement. The Valley Flyers and I are pleased to see you at the Basin again. I think things worked out great. Hope to see you at Whittier in Oct as well as the Basin in Nov.

Default The Basin

Barry and everyone there did a great job keeping things moving. This was my first race and I learned soo much about how things work on a 3 pylon course.

Thanks again,
Jacob
