We wouldn't know what to do with single digit winds here in Kansas...

We had a great race. 14 showed up but one crashed in practice and one was hangover, so we flew with 12. Weather was 70 with a 9mph wind right down the line from pylon one. Good racing all around with no midair’s, pylon hits or bad landings. After all the dust had settled, 4 were tied for first, myself , Don Luce, Jerry Elert and Tim Brockman. What a fun fly off, I came in first with 1:04 but had one cut, Don Luce had 2 cuts so Tim Brockman first, Jerry Elert second, Randy Etken third and Don Luce forth .
It can’t get much better than racing short course with Jett sport 40 and Ritches Brew fuel.
Don Luce won the Jett sport 40 raffle.
Trophies were excellent, Broadway Bar Pizza with of course with Rolling Rock and usual BS talk.
If you have not races 426, you are missing a fun time.

Sounds fun - we've been racing a little 426 around here, too. Last time we had 9 entries, but we had a rain delay and some had to leave. Still, fun races!

Between Kansas City, Wichita, and Hillsdale KS we should have another 3 426 races this fall. Looking forward to it!

As low as he sits to the ground, I'm surprised he got hurt

I'll bring your favorite plane Randy, no T-boning!

To Del’s credit, he did the matrix and timed the first place plane in each heat. It was nice to know the times because of the new event.

At least he didn't fly hung over and try to take you out with his airplane again
