I don't, sorry Vic.

Several Seekers about 1/2 way done, going to be a busy winter restocking.

Yes it is Gary! flies good as well, just need to back up the CG a bit, she is flying a little nose heavy. Thankfully this viper wing is quite straight, didn't need much trim at all, very solid.

i flew mine this weekend flies very nice its a little tail heavy need to more the battery in front of the tank i think. but it flew very well tracks well, only required a couple clicks here and there on the test flight. my first heat of the weekend it was very erratic hard to keep it straight, finished the heat and landed. ended up finding my front wing hold down had poped loose. my fault i didnt properly put a reinforceing fillet on it. but it lives to fly another day, easy repair. i will post pictures in a couple days!

BTW what is the CG for the Snaker??? same as the viper?

I haven't measured mine, but I think I got mine close to perfect now with the sport Jett on the nose instead of the OS. It is quite a bit lighter.
I'll check tonight or tomorrow and let you know.

Dave,

In your opinion, how does the Snaker 426 performance compare to Seeker 426 performance?

We fly the short course for both 424 and 426 models.

Thanks for your comments!

Scott Hartman

Scott, to be honest, I haven't raced it enough to know. The first one I built midaired on its 2nd flight and had a horribly warped wing. The 2nd one that I finished above I have only flown 2 times and have never used it in a race. I know it flies good and appears to have no bad habits, but I haven't had it under the gun or anything.

what I do know, in 424 and 426. Most of the modern designs, if built properly can be competitive. The advantages of the composite planes is greatly diminished when you get on the short course and start turning alot. If / when I have more data I will let you know.

Sorry for not getting back to you Scott, I'm right at 3", but that might be a little tail heavy for some people. May want to stick closer to 2 7/8".
