RACING THIS SATURDAY 8-20-11 IN DELRAY BEACH!

Question; how many races do we have in South Florida? Answer; NOT ENOUGH! And we may loose this one if the turnout gives the club the wrong message about the interest level of racers in the area.

Time to suit up and show boys and girls. If you can still get around the course on your own power that is...

Scorpion Racing

Well, HELL Yeah I will be there! I may not be able to get around the poles, but I think my plane still can. Too bad I can't defend the 424 !st place & Fast Time from last year, but I am sure you all are happy I moved up anyways!! [8D] I will fly 424 just for fun this time, even though I think it is always for fun. Wish I could do 426 too, but I am fresh out of composites until my molds are done. Soon.....

Hey you are supposed to be able to compete with out a composite Plane in 426!!!
I wonder how that is working out?? How many have won a race using a balsa and foam plane in 426???

I would like to thank the Palm Beach Radio Control Association and Jim Purdue for a wonderful race! The club did an outstanding job on the event, and we all appreciated the free Subway lunch you provided. I hope you can continue to provide a place in your schedule for a pylon racing event each year, even if you need to move it to a different time of the year. All the racers had a great time, and we look forward to your next event.

One correction, I was 3rd in Expert 424, due to that last heat incident with the ground at turn 1! [:@] Would have been tied for 1st in Expert 424 had I not had that temporary brain fart!

Yes Thats Right Scott Smith , The Palm Beach R/C Association And Jim Purdue did do a great Job On the Delray Dash I would like to Thank them very much for Having the Event . And I Hope the Palm Beach R/C Association Continue to Have Pylon Racing in south Florida . I had alot of fun , the last time i Raced was 10 year's ago , Thanks Scott for calling for me that was fun hope you'll call for me again you did a great job man . Thanks for all the worker's that helped with the race and thank you for lunch it was great , I hope you guy's keep having PYLON RACING in south Florida .........Thanks to all Joe Linsangan , Jacksonville FL .

The Results are correct

I will add fast time tho In 424 it was Dennis Obrien with a hot time of 1:19 and yes guys he went around the poles.

In 426 I blieve it was Matt Fehling with a 1:03. 1:03 was the fast time.

It was HOT and MUGGY

Palm beach Club did a marvelous job of putting together a great Pylon Race. We had I believe 12 pilots in Heat stroke August.

For those that missed it missed a good fun competitive race..

You want to race step up and support this club you will be happy you did
