Does anyone by chance have a source or scan of the Hobbico Viper manual? This isn't the Great Planes Viper, this is the older low-wing ARC version. I want to go with the V-tail option and there is a decent bit of work to make the mod.

How bout I send you a used GP Viper tail.

Hehe thanks, but I think I will stick with the parts in my box. I just need details as to how to do the V-tail correctly. The horizontal stab comes as a plate and I would need to cut it in half, bevel it and glue it in at the correct angle. Tough to tell how they want me to do this as the fuse is set up to take the regular stab arrangement.

I would be happy to share with you how I make mine now that I have moved on from ARF land. Or you can have the old tail. It's in good shape.

Let me make a phone call. I sold one of these to buddy a couple years ago and I know he hasn't finished it so he should still have the manual. If he has it I'll get you a scan.

I finally got a call back and says its a scat cat.....which it isn't....but I will dig around my shop and see if I kept a copy of the manual.
