Nelson parts and contact info
I need a few parts for my Nelson. Where's the best place to get them?
Also, is there a contact number for Henry? There are a few questions I'd like to ask him directly.
On another issue, I have my Nelson setup on my Racer II. I get full throttle okay but the fuel nipple on the spraybar gets in the way of closing the barrel. Will the engine still shut down without the barrel closing completely? It gets to about 1/4 throttle before it starts binding the ball link on the fuel line.
Thanks,,,basmntdweller

Best place to get the parts is through Performance Specialties. Call Dave Shadel. The website is www.pspec.com
The placement of the fuel nipple has always been in the way. It would be nice if it was a little higher, and the carb arm didn't have to be as long, but it seems to work out ok. It shouldn't be a problem, the engine will normally shut down if you get the barrel within 3/4 of the way closed.

BD,
I use small fuel tubing. After all you do not need the hole in the tubing to be any bigger than the hole in the nipple. Hardly any point in that is there.
My barrel just closes completely.

Performance Specialties www.pspec.com also has a new Needle Valve Assy (NVA),,, the inlet fuel feed nipple is now just below the locknut. Its on the top side and there is no longer an interference problem when using this NVA setup with the control arm.
