RE: North Central Pylon first 426 race of 2012

15 pilots showed up to race 426 but one had tank problems and left. Day was 80 degrees with a 24 mph wind gusting to 35 out of the south. A few planes were lost or damaged because of the gusting winds but only one midair. We got in 6 rounds and had brats and Rolling Rock and smart talk after the race.
    1st A.J. Hemken
    2nd Pat Galarneault
    3rd Ron Gage
    4th Don Luce
R-200 plane took first 5 places.

Come join us for our next 426 race, June 9th at Grassfield RC Club.

Yep, that's like 4 years in a row I've had a mid-air at your race.. Luckily the plane flew like ***** so it wasn't a huge loss..

Maybe next year I'll cook the brats and guard the beer instead

Having Lee guard the beer is like having the fox guard the henhouse!

Just make sure he leaves the "mold modifier" at home if he does guard the refreshments!!
