Default Finish a Sheeted Q500 Wing

I wet sanded the surface of the wing to feather the trim into the red surfaces.

Default Finish a Sheeted Q500 Wing

Outside was relatively calm this morning and I used this opportunity to clear coat a couple more wings.
  • I used a type that is for spot panels.
  • It was mixed according to directions: 1 part hardener to 4 parts base
  • About 25% reducer was added to the mix
  • It was mixed and filtered when poring into the spray gun.
  • A very light mist was applied initially and let to set about 10 minutes
  • Several more light coat were applied until a light shiny surface was received
  • The wings were set out of the way to dry
