I was wondering what the state of 424 racing is? What engine is being used now that the Thunder tigers are no more?

The Evolution 0.46 is now approved for 424 racing.

I take it the Evolution is faster than the old TT .40? I still have a few of them. Nice to know the event is dead. Hopefully someone will keep making engines.

The version that is approved has the one piece muffler. This version is very similar in performance to the Thunder Tiger Pro 40.

All My 424 engines are Thunder Tigers. I've raced against a few Evolutions and won heats and lost to one of them so I think they are pretty close. When I eventually run out of parts will probably switch to the new ones.

In my opinion it really boils down to flying skills with either engine can win races.
