RE: The SHOTGUN
Hi all and Happy Holidays. Darrol Cady and I have been putting the Shot Gun together the past few days and Wow! What a cool plane, construction is top notch. It came out at 3lb 7.04 oz. If the weather is good tomorrow we will give it a test flight, and I will get some pics to put up on here and let you all know how it goes.

RE: The SHOTGUN
Test Flights went very well with the Shotgun today.
It was windy and a little tough staying on the right path. Bill Vargas launched, I flew, Darrol did the timing, and Bonnie and Rhonda were Pylon judges at one, as will as callers via two way radios. The best time after 3 runs was a 1.06 something and its worst was a 1.09 something. The airplane takes full up elevator on takeoff to keep the prop out of the dirt. As soon as it breaks ground, come off the elevator. I would guess that the prop blast is getting under the horizontal stab and causing a high pressure and raising the tail, a small nuance only requiring an adjustment in technique. When a plane is this fast as this one is, who cares? Right?
I would suggest getting your orders in as soon as possible when everybody sees it go it might become hard to get. Go to WWW.DarrolCady.com for more information and how to order.

Dick,
I'm sure you can make or modify the servo tray to hold whatever servos you intend on using. Most of us are using servos similar to the Hitec 225, Futaba 3002, or JR 3121.
