Dave,
Have you ever thought that deep down you may be a Packer's fan? Maybe that's really why you like green so much....???

This is my back up plane. It is a Revolution with a Jett. My primary is a modified V Vector that looks identical and has a Nelson.

That plane looks familiar Rick.
Did you race it at the Winterfest this past year?
Very nice. Despite its lack of a certain color that makes racing planes look much faster than they really are.

Dave,
I was at Winterfest. I had a great time eventhough I did terrible. I'm glad I was able to bring both airplanes home in one piece. What color are you talking about?

It has been a busy past couple of weeks. I finished off my Vendetta last night.
Heres a picture. I was too lazy to add the black trim, so I only went with two colors on this one.

Only got one flight on the PoleCat, and none on the Vendetta (Hope to Saturday). My previous Vendetta flew great, and even after 1 flight I see no problems with the PoleCat. Both should haul.

Hi Guys,
Well I lost my #1 new Pacemaker for the Nats the other day to a bad battery pack, so I pulled out my old reliable and dusted it off. Still going strong and almost 5 years old. First test flew it with a TT-40 and then bolted on the Nelson, What a great day to fly here. Here is a picture at the field an hour ago

RE: Post pictures of your RACERS!
Looks great Lewis (for a 5 year old plane).
I got the the test flight, and a couple others out of the Vendetta today. First flight did not go well, I was getting a weird snapping when I pulled hard on the elevator. I landed the plane and noticed I didn't get one of the rear wing hold downs tight enough and there was a slight gap in the saddle. (doh!!)
I also noticed that although I thought I had the rudder straight, it was sanded a little crooked, and I actually had quite a bit of left rudder throw in the rudder.
Lastly, I don't normally laterally balance my planes untill after I fly them. This plane needed a bit of weight, but I didn't want to add it because it was already about 2oz heavy. I taped a couple of quarters on the left wing to see if it would help.
The 2nd and 3rd flights went better, but now I have to get on a course to find out what its really capable of. The Engine really turned up, I think I may swap it out with the Polecat engine. The Polecat flies EXTREMELY smooth and stable.

RE: Post pictures of your RACERS!
yup. We are coming down in full forcd. Jacob Raquet will be flying Q-500, Dave, Robert, and I will be flying Qm-40. I think Rusty and Richard V. will be there also with us. The Ashley that are being built are back ups. I have two new ones that I will be flying in Aiugust. I borrowed a vendetta from Jacob since I dont have the Q-500's anymore.

RE: Post pictures of your RACERS!
Well, since so many people have posted pictures of their Q40's in here (even thought it's the Q500 forum), I thought I would show this. Here are some shots of the new Proud Bird wing Jim Allen did for me, fresh out of the mold. You can see some of the remaining flashing left on the trailing edge in some of the pics. The numbers and stuff are actually silver with black shadowing, but the pics look more gray...he did an awesome job...

Great looking graphics Gary.
From the stencils I received from Jim, I have no doubt he knows what he's doing. Unfortunately, I can't paint like him. He obviously does a very nice job.
Nice Futaba graphics.

I haven't seen it yet, but this is the new Neme-Q Plus that is on its way. If I get enough time to get it race ready, I might have it with me for the Nats.
Looks good to me.
