Here was Terrence's teaser picture he sent me today. He's switched paints, and now metallics are available. I can't wait to see this one, its going to be a tough call on my primary Nats plane next year

Thats funny Randy. Your Dad should be getting close with my Vortex, we will see in the spring. I need a fresh one to keep up with you and Travis, my other two Vortex's have both been damaged and are a little heavier than I would like.

Dave, that is far too pretty to risk in a race. If I were you, I’d just hang it on the wall of your living room. Yeah, but then it would get lonely, so you might as well put the other + up there with it. But then, what will Vortexes do all by themselves out in the shop? Better put those up in the den…
Look’n good!

Just got the email from Chuck (Or should I say Kim) that the Vortex shipped yesterday. Woo Hoo!!
With the long waiting periods, you never want to run out Plus I've been wrecking a plane at just about every big race lately. Not as bad as Gary, but getting close.

Waiting period? What waiting period..... Just call the Chuckster and the plane is in the mail in 2 weeks. That does remind me that I need to email Terrance and make sure he got my order. Do you guys have his email address?

MacGuyver,
The Vortex is manufactured by Chuck Bridge (No website), and the Neme-Q+ can be seen at www.flyfastcomposites.com
Both are highly fabricated fully composite Q500 race planes. Both can be assembled and ready to fly in a couple hours.

MacGuyver
if interested, i live in campbell ( san JOse ) and if you want to take a look at a Neme Q + or a original, give me a call. I race both Q-500 and QM40 and would be more than happy to see a new face in the mix.

RE: Post pictures of your RACERS!
I have two Robbe Cobra's.
One of the Cobras is equipped with an OS Wankel. This Engine seems to be made for Q500 Racers Before it was powered by an Irvine .39 which is an very light and powerful Engine.
The other one is normally flown with an ST40 and 10x7 APC (Noise Restrictions) but I also use it as an "Fying Engine Test Stand" (biggest Engine was an MDS.58 so far... it survived).
I currently use the Plane just for fun but I think about participating on Race Events with the Super Tigre powered Cobra.
Most People on my Flying Field love the Cobra's and next season we will hopefully have more of them airborne. This will be the time to start some Competition. [8D]

RE: Post pictures of your RACERS!
Here is my first of 4 new 424 planes for next year... I've also got 1 428 plane one the bench and one on order. This is a Seeker with external linkage because the fuse got glued up a little too narrow.... This building mistake was blamed on beer, which I find to be a perfectly valid excuse.

Sweeeetttt Lee!!!
Beer is a perfectly valid excuse and I higher recommend it’s assistance during Seeker builds... Just watch for BUI’s (building under the influence), I hear they’re rough in WI…

Actually, I wasn't the builder that was under the influence was I Mr. Norman??? Dave gave me the fuse because before he realized the tail was too skinny, he started up the dremel (Enter too much Rock here) The fuse side was so thin you could see light thru it.... Nothing a little glass couldn't cure.

RE: Post pictures of your RACERS!
That beer miscue was mine, I really tried to pinch the tail in tight, and left virtually no room for the linkage. I started hogging out the balsa with a dremel until it got so thin that you could almost see through it. It sat in my shop for a while, and I gave it to Lee when he was over working on a tail.
Looks great Lee, The green is nice, but those are Packers Colors.
