New Aluminum Gear for Q-500
Hi Guys,
I am getting ready to start the kits now and I am going to have aluminum gear made up to be included. I am going to use T5 6061 and the two sizes I have are going to be 8" spread, mounting area of 1.375"x 2.75" and a height range of 3"to 2.6" . The 2nd gear will be 7.1" spread, mounting area of 1.125 x 2.75 and a height range of 2.8" to 2.4". Let me know what you think of the sizes because I want to offer to be sold separately to other guys as well. The price should be in the $5 range.

Hi Dave,
Looks like these 2 sizes will cover most planes from all the email I got in the last couple of day. I am going to make the vertical llegs .85 inches tall to give the guys plenty of adjustment in axle location.
