Wanted: Nelson for 428
You guessed it, I'm hooked. After just 2 and half heats of 428 racing it's a done deal. I'm looking for one or possibly 2 used Nelsons for racing next year. Please contact me if anyone has any they want to sell. Cash, MO, Paypal, howevery you want to do it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Wanted: Nelson for 428
Hey Diggs....I have been out of the racing for a while and want to get rid of a couple of engines.
1) used Nelson Q500 with NEW AAC piston ,liner , and head.(never been run since rebuilt by performance specialty)
2) used Jett Quckee428 engine with updated AAC Piston and liner
( #13 production case , with original carb if you are interested in putting it back to NEW )
I also have some APC props and Nelson plugs!!!!
MAKE ME AN OFFER !!!!

Pete,
I'll take the Nelson for the $200.... Paypal ok??
By the way I was informed this type of posting is a no-no... Sorry if I pissed anybody off I didn't know. I would delete it but RCU doesn't give you the option.

Will I get in trouble for asking where I can get an Old ST G40....it had a blue head....or even a COMO 40?
And are either of these engines legal in 424...or even and older ST bullring or S 40....all of these were really good engines and cheap !

The Storm,
The Como .40 may be legal in 424, but I don't know of any area that uses the 424 rules as they are in the rule book.
Most have their own local rules when it comes to engines.

Storm,
I bought a pair of G .40 ABC R/C on EBAY from two sources a few months ago. They are the ones you are thinking about - sand cast cases with the blue heads. Both are NIB. The pinnicle of ST power, before they started with the dorky cast heads and crappy drive washers. Just watch EBAY, they are out there in the hundreds for under a hundred.

For the up to date actual 424 rules check the AMA website. You may be surprised.
However, As Dave says regional rules may have their own flavour.
