Glass Covered Wing?
Has anyone here experimented with making quickee wings using foam cores and covering them with layers of fiberglass and then vacuum bagging?
If so--could you report results? Type of foam used, type of glass used & how many layers etc.
Weight and strength results would be great also.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Glass Covered Wing?
It's been done, but I don't know all the particulars you are looking for. Some guys about 8 years ago were trying it in central Calif. with some success. They probably blew up about 40% of them. If I think of there names, I'll repost here.
