Looks like everyone had a good time so far at the NATS... and Hurricane Dennis (leftovers) has not been a serious problem

The plane is a Vortex for sure. The engine is a BSE Quickie Jett .40. The prop I don't know, but I've seen Mike runs 8.8x9.25 here at Speedworld at the Winterfest. I would imagine that is the one, but not sure due to humid air in Muncie. Maybe Bob can give us an inside scoop on it. 
While you're at it, can you give us sleeve height and head clearance, Bob?

That thing was on rails the whole time until the last flight. The guy running the tram from the pits to the field parked right where he was landing, and after he won his final heat and touched down the planes headed straight for the trailer and one wing was busted open by the trailers wheel well, while the other smashed into Danny Kane's leg.

I am fine. I can't say the same about Mike's Vortex wing.

I was sitting on the trailer with my airplane in one hand and my flight box in the other. My back was to Mike's plane. Someone shouted heads up and we all turned around. I jumped out of the trailer plane and box in hand. Just in time to stand in front of Mike's airplane before it hit the trailer. The plane was on the ground and rolling. So it was not that bad, for me that is.
Anyway, Mike was the class of the field. His VORTEX (take a look at the top 10, there was a bunch) and Jett engine combo worked flawlessly!!!

The Jett BSE was setup at the factory. Don't really know what the settings were I just run them the way Dub sets them up.
Thanks to Dan for sacrificing himself to save my airplane from hitting the trailer.
And I ran a 8.8X9 prop for the whole event. The air was very heavy and it seemed to work ok.

I would rather get beat by the top pilots rather than the average pilots and learn something from them. At least that I can not be too embarrased about.

I left on Thursday and didn't get to see Q-40, who was awarded the overall championship??? Both Randy and Mike had an even amount of points after the 2 events.
