Nice Day,,
Oh yea...
I won today, had nice day. Followed a plan, stayed the couse, beat faster planes.... I won.
Nasty, hot, WINDY day.... I can do that.. 17 for 18 points.

Some really nice planes ran today, really.. Jerry B. did a a 1:11 during a "time trial " we had today between rounds with this rebuilt Quickie from the chop shop..

It was a good, yet hot and windy, day.
Norlins plane is a Seeker, not a Racer II
That repair job of Jerry's plane was very well done. If you can't tell, it looks like that fill in piece was part of Jason Duda's crash at the Nats this year.

I used to feel guilty about winning because everyone else cut out all day. When I brought that up to another club member he said not cutting is as much of the game as going fast, so I washed away my guilt with a couple more Bud's and took home my 2nd place trophy.. Come to think of it, that's my second 428 trophy this year... Both times the weather was less than perfect... I guess my racing moto should be "bring on the wind"
