Default R-200 out lasts the Seeker

News flash! R-200 wins North Central Pylon Leagues 424 standard class over Dave Normans Seeker. Sorry BV. It was only a point or two, so bring on the 2006 season. Congrats to Chuck Eldridge.

Actually Randy, I believe the R-200 won the expert class and the standard class was won by Kent's Viper I think..... Keep us posted on the new fuse design and make sure it's strong enough to take on the elm by the shed Congrats on your win but remember, there's always next year.....

Lee - regarding strength - that red R200 has 6 mid-airs (two with Bednark this year and he let me know he owes me). The blue one is the "Junk Yard Dog" that I pieced together after the fly-away into the Elk River car graveyard. Thanks to Del for helping me find it in 2,000 dead cars.

where is this North Central Pylon Leagues located statewise. I have a fast Racer 2 I would like to challenge the R-200 with. Let me know a time and a place to compete and I'll be there, representing Bill Vargas's awesome design.

CrashExpert,
If you want to see how fast your Racer 2 is then come up to the Charleston SC race next week. The guys from Hodges, Greenville, Atlanta, VA, NC and Orlando all say they are coming. There is also talk of a trophy dash for the fast 4 times of the day. If you can do well at this race, you'll need good equipment, including thumbs.

I know it's only a 1 day race but most are staying Saturday night, something about foamies, beer, racing stories and beer. Marcus is expecting to fly 6-7 rounds with over 20 entries 424.

Next year we will try 2 days races and maybe a big year end deal in Oct 2006.

Bill

Crash,

If you attend the race Bill mentions above, you'll get a chance to race Bill's Seeker.

Good Luck, you'll need it.

I guess the Racer 2 rules down here since everyone at our club has 2 or 3 of them. I was planning on going but my boss wont let me go. I do plan on heading up there sometime in 2006 to put my racer 2 up againist the r-200 and the seeker. Mr. Vargas needs some more representation up there.

Raniery the only way your seeker bet my racer 2 was because you had a motor that was turning faster then mine. And we went back and forth when we raced each other u won one and i won one.

you gotta remenber thhe times i beat you with a dogger and with the seeker there were more than one time. [:-].
but i really want to go to georgia and SC if they do two days. if you guys are getting 20 pilots on this race, with all the people from fort lauderdale, at least it's going to be 10 more guys.

and crashexpert2 i don't remenber you doing a heat under 1:40, piece of cake for the seeker. don't get me wrong i have racer 2 and love them but seeker it's rulling so far.
