viper questions
hey everyone. i am getting a gp viper and i was wondering if u had anyopinions as to what to run. im not looking to race but maybe against club members at my club. anyway i was reading and i have narrowed my choices down to a jett40 a mvvs 40 and a rossi 40. i was wondering what u guys think. i was leaning to the mvvs cause its chepaer but if i have to spend the extra dough i will. also what will i need to do to make sure this plane will hold up to these rpms? thanks

RE: viper questions
The MVVS and Rossi are fine motors but cannot compare to the Jett. If you want to go fast, get the Jett. BTW, I assume you're talking about the Sport Jett .40, .45, or .50. If you really want to go fast, get the 428 legal Q500 racing motor.
I'll let others comment on the Viper's structural issues.

RE: viper questions
I have a Viper which I would recomend a Thunder Tiger .40. They engines cost about $70.00 bucks. Mine turns 17,000 with a 9x6 APC prop. Plane hits around 100+MPH and if you do want to race Q-500 eventually your plane would be ready to go into 424 class, a great place to start.
