q500 races in az
anyone out there no of when theres gonna be a 424 q500 race at speedworld in phoenix.
ive checked the web page and dont see anything coming up. im gonna race in parker usra giant scale in oct this year so im wanting to get practiced in the race scene.
im looking for the 424 sportsman or newbie class.

Speedworld generally runs APRA (AMA 424) on the 3rd Saturday of every month EXCEPT for months when a regular race is scheduled (i.e. January, February, November). Sometimes they move the race date forward or backward a weekend if it conflicts with a California race.
I'd look for the first 2006 race in March (unofficially speaking, of course).

just cause im new be patient with me cause i have a few more questions.
im running the stock tt pro 40 is this what guys run or are they all nelsons,jetts etc?
hopefully theres classes 424 428 q40?
do i need caller,handler?
do i have to join nmpr?

tt pro 40 is what we use here at speedworld so u r fine there...i personally fly 428 with a Jett motor...as for a caller, dont even worry about it...ill call for ya if u need someone..the main concern should be getting some practice...next weekend is a BIG q-40 race that i will be unable to attend due to medical reasons so after that race i will be heading out there for some casual weekend practice...you r more than welcome to join me n tony for practice n we can help u out im sure.
as for parker, Holly n skip got the kelly all fixed up n ima have me a new bipe also...im goin to all 3 races this year so it should be interesting
