Default GP Viper fuselage dimension

Hi!
I have a GP Viper and its fuselage is only 72mm wide (according to Q-500 rules it should be at least 73 mm wide). What to do?

Regards!

Is that with the servo tray in it? Someone had posted without the servo tray, it was not wide enough.

The quick cheap and nasty way. On both sides of the fuselage at the point where you want the correct width cut a slit in the covering just below the wing saddle. Slide a piece of balsa 1.0mm x 10mm x the depth of the fuselage into the slit. seal up the slit.

Done.

I would add a "spreader" (A piece of wood like a popsicle stick) in the fuze at the wide point. Make the spreader a hair wider than the fuze and use it to widen the fuse. If that doesn't work, a couple pieces of clear tape on either side should get you up to the minimum.

Hi!
Thanks guys...fixed it by tearing the new covering and added 0.5mm balsa and 25g glassfiber/polyester resin on each side...then covered it again... [:@].
