Default racer for a .25

Ok I need something that will fly fast with a .25!!
I want something that is built up. Not fiberglass. unless you can suggest something less than $150 that is fiberglass.
Our club racing limits us to a .25 stock motor.
Some of the faster guys are flying vipers and predators. they are fast with a .25.
I think something smaller would go faster. Any suggestions?

sound like describing a slow quicky set up. Are you sure you can use any airframe you want. slow quicky has to have a Q500 airframe, vipers and predators are Q500 airframes, they are so wide so long so tall with 500 Sq in wings . otherwise if you can crame that 25 into a linear strike 10 then you'd have a fast model even a linear strike 40 or a sig wonder 40

I think I know the club he is talking about. Any frame, but it has to take off from an idle start. I was going to join in, but they only race 6 times a year, and it's on the same Sunday as our club races. Chopping the wings on the Vipers is not as good as what a thinner chord wing would do( I hear a few guys chop the ends off a bit) I was building a small Viper, 8" chord, everything scaled down, but I quit when I saw the races are the same as ours. What about a Rookie .20?

We used to use Sig Wonders, modified with trike gear.

It has to ROG!
Duane is right about the club I am talking about. We can race any plane. Just has to be a .25
I am working on a wonder with Gear. I am also working on a scaled up version of a Yellow Jacket. It is a 1/2a class winning bird from a long time ago.
What about the dominator 200 from Lanier?

I just want to beat those damn viper/pred/sneeker arf's. I want to beat these guys by design/flying and speed.
I know that a smaller plane with a .25 will be faster than those pred/viper/sneeks.
It is to plain if everyone fly's the same plane! I design my own and make it interesting.

A .25 is too big for a dominator 200, and i like overpowering planes.

Whats a "Sneeker"?

They are seekers, not sneekers. Sneakers go on your feet! LOL

Ok yellow jacket is scaled up.
IT has a 37.5 length wing and a 8.5" cord about 335 squares
ended up 33.5 in length. Same size as my .25 rookie, but longer and skinnier at the tail.
