Default Nelson 428 enging value

Hey guys, just trying to move an item and was wondering what the honest street value was. I tried an Ebay auction for 275, but no bidders. It's the Nelson quickie 500 with brand new muffler. I cleaned it up and ran it a few times. I put it on one of my Vipers and flew it several times. It was fast. It turns a 8.8 x 8.75 APC about 20k, but jumps to 21k when you pinch the fuel line. I ran it fairly rich the few times I flew it. It may turn more, but I really don't know. I bought it used for 275 without a muffler. I may have gotten a bad deal, won't be the first. I posted that I would thow in 6 plugs and 3 props. I thought it was a fair offer. Anybody care to comment?

around $200 is more realistic.

I just posted a Q40 motor at $150 w/near new top end, I'm hoping for at least $200, but you never know. A lot of them have been sold lately with the LS out now, so their may not be demand right now.

I'll bite..... you got a great deal. 21K on the pinch with that prop? Are you sure?... If so, that would be..."holy crap out of this world incredibly good". If you have an once of competitiveness in you body, strap that stump puller up, and go win some races. To give you a base idea, that prop you mentioned.... most good motors will only pinch it about 19,7 to 20,5 at best. So that thing you have is about 1K better than anything.

Copy your post here and put it on the nmpra.org site, someone for sure will buy it.
