I can sell you them to you but it wouldn't be financially viable for you................you are better off buying direct from TOWER HOBBIES- USA TH

Thanks for the info. Reason for the question, and reason I'll probably source from 'across the pond' is the $120 Viper 500 becomes the $265 Viper 500 in the UK. Ouch!

Not as bad here in New Zealand, $218nz as of 10mins ago from Towers, or $250 nz from New Zealand Model shop.

Huh, built in China, shipped to the US, and then shipped to England. Sounds like you guys need your own distributer.

Tower were quoting $95 shipping. Trouble is, anything coming in from the States gets hammered for customs duty and vat.
Maybe I should locate the chinese manufacturer

Hi Skycom

I looked into buying a viper last year Ripmax the UK distributor was not interested and the cost of buying from Tower hobbies when postage was added was not viable, for a little bit more you could have a Big Bruce SlingShot. If you are looking for a model to race get in touch with me directly through www.pylonracer.co.uk, we (Paul Harvey) have designed and built our own models and a small batch of kits/artf’s are available at far less than the Viper.

Regards Peter Harvey

Some of my mates back in australia are paying upto $380 , some shop in brisbane is making a killing , I ship them back home for $210 all up. Last one I got off fleabay cost $75 new in box. Just make sure you check all incedences and then double check.
