both of these engines are hot race engines and with the side exhaust models the power output is very close between the two. there is also another top engine made by MB [ PROFI ] which is also as quick but even cheaper. what you should take into account is ; how good are you with race engines ? do you have money to re build them as they do where out alot quicker than the lower reving glow engines. also have you thought of racing Q-500 in the lower class that uses engines like O.S. and Thunder Tiger 46 sizes ?
the costs of replacing these 2 engines is cheaper than what you will pay for a Nelson etc crankcase. big doolars

I agree with Freeair on looking at the TT engines as an entry to Q500.
If the racers in your area are only looking at what we call in the states 428 racing you will be looking at the high dollar engines but if they are also running what we call 424 you would save a bunch of money and possible fustration by going with the TT.40. They are all good engines though.

Or you can race Q-25 and every time you hit a pole or mid-air you can lose an engine in the weeds...........Right Bob ??????????

Play nice Johnny
I had my T-6 taken out by Mr. Nagy's Q 25 Predator Sunday. Word is he is putting kill marks on the plane for the next race seeing as he is 3-0 for mid-airs with that thing now.

The engine was using the same mount as you guys...and I still have it.

Well, John found a fix for that. Epoxy!! Just epoxy the engine on the nose. Make sure you don't get any inside the engine. Makes for a heck of a pinch!!
