RE: KCRC 424 Pylon Race – April 25th
[Dear Scott, your luck has run out... Don't let the paint fumes cloud the skill and talent I have. That sir, WILL be your down fall you WILL: cut, flame out, forget to fuel, put your prop on backwards and your shoe laces will be tied together at least once tomorrow. I will then handcuff you to your chair, and muzzle your trap. By the end of the day you will just be a shell of a manchild that wished he never made that choice to come to Kansas City and call me a fart in the wind. [8D] [/b]

RE: KCRC 424 Pylon Race – April 25th
Thank-you to our KCRC members and the pilots that came out despite the less then favorable forecast. We had 20 registered pilots, and only lost 1 or 2 throughout the day's racing. This was very impressive to me as the wind was pretty rough at times. Spring in Mid America.
Mother nature did provide us a rain free day to get in 6 rounds of hotly contested racing.
After much ribbing by the Show Me Racing team, Eddie Jump came up from Wichita and took the win. Nice flying Eddie.
Scott Causey came in at a close 2nd followed by KCRC member, and race coordinator, Robert Williams who rounded out the podium spots in 3rd.
I managed to take Fast Time and 4th place, despite my bad case of cutitis that infected my flying in rounds 5 and 6.
Paul Fawcett was the winner of the Great Planes Viper donated by Hobbico. This was Paul’s first 3-pole race and I’m sure the Viper has found a good home. Thanks for coming up Paul.
I’ve attached some photos below. Full race results to follow.
Look forward to seeing everyone again at the 2nd Race of the season on May 9th hosted by the Olathe Barnstomers, http://www.rcbarnstormers.org/directions.html

the race was a ton of fun, despite my horrible luck. but getting a viper was a great way to soften the blow to my ego. it was a big learning experience for me. I look forward to racing again at hillsdale. and a big thanks to all the guys and gals who helped put on a very smooth, professional race.

Keep your fingers crossed for good weather for the Barnstormer race at Hillsdale on the 9th!
AJ, thanks again for a great time - you and the rest of your helpers from KCRC sure know how to throw a good race! Lots of fun, even with all the wind.
Hope to see you all at Hillsdale!
