Default Compete For The Lead Goose Trophy

This year the prestigious ”Lead Goose” traveling trophy will be awarded to the pilot that accumulates the most points in a series of AMA 424 pylon races held in NMPRA District 5. The NMPRA point system will be used. Each pilot’s top six race point totals will be used to determine the champion. You do not need to be a member of the NMPRA to compete for the trophy but it is highly recommended that you join the NMPRA. You do not need to live in District 5 to compete, but only points earned in the District 5 series of races will count.

Points earned at the following NMPRA District 5 AMA 424 Races will count towards the championship:
Apr 25 - Kansas City, MO
May 16 - Muncie, IN
May 17 - Muncie, IN
Jun 6 - Cincinnati, OH
Jun 7 - Cincinnati, OH
Jun 20 - Bloomington, IL
Jun 21 - Bloomington, IL
Aug 8 - Hilbert, WI
Aug 9 - Hilbert, WI
Aug 29 - Muncie, IN
Aug 30 - Muncie, IN
Sep 5 - Bloomington, IL
Sep 6 - Bloomington, IL
Oct 10 - Kansas City, MO

Bernie, any chance of including the other district 5 races in Minnesota, or does our non-standard rules make that difficult?

is that "lead" as in "in front of the pack", or lead as in "heavier than lead"?

Dave,

Your rules make it difficult. The main reason we included more races in the series was to encourage pilots to participate in more races. With your ruleset we cannot be competitive in the MN races and your airplanes would not be legal in the other 424 races. If you guys switch to TT Pro .40s we could include the MN races. We also tried to get the schedule set up to avoid date conflicts.
