A very good short stroke was in the mid 160's flat and level (no wind).
Long strokes are mostly in the 170's, low to high depending on day and prop.
I'm sure you could get one in the 180's + under the right conditions, I've seen it, but most will be in the 170's.

15 years ago, Fred Burgdorf radar'ed my plane at 172 mph on the course in dead calm conditions in level flight. Nelson SS, with the then new shorter pipe and a Rev-up wood prop. The next closest speed he recorded at that time was in the low 160's. Most were in the high 150's.
These new engines must be about 15% more powerful than the SS engines were. So from crunching the numbers, 180 mph should just be possible with a clean airplane.
