Hodges Hobby's Race Results for 424 7/17/10
It was a great day to race. We ran 7 rounds in each class and there was minimum amount of carnage.
Thanks to Robin Drake and Mac Hodges for their hospitality.

Barry,
Some photos would be nice. ;-)
How many laps are you guys running each round in 428? The lap times are way off from the norm on what 428 times normally are. Just curious!

We didn't run 428 just Club 40 and 424. We used the AMA std short course for both classes. I am sorry but I didn't get any pictures as I was a competitor in Club 40 and the starter for 424.
We had a guy taking pics but I failed to get his name or email. My Bad!!
We ran std 10 lap heats.
I really felt for the 424 guys as there was only two heats per round so every other time they flew is was back to back heats. With the heat it was a real intense time for those guys

Thanks for the kind words! I'm getting there. My fast time was a good 1.5 seconds faster than my previous best, so that's progress. Equipment-wise, the airplane and engine were very competitive and consistent, no blown plugs, flameouts, or other glitches. Just need to get my thumbs to the same level ;-). At least no cuts or mid-airs for me this time around.
