thinning of in a turn
hello all
how to solve the problem of thinning of in a turn? I use g 500 engine with 9 mm venturi Thanks Franc |
RE: thinning of in a turn
Hi Franc
To prevent confusion we say "leaning out" not "thinning of" If you are not using a Tettra tank Or Jett tank (bubble-less/bladder tank)do so. You will find that that will help. Denis |
RE: thinning of in a turn
Can you rotate your engine mount to lower the intake any? How about raising the tank? That and the jett or tettra bladder tank should help. If thats not enough you may have to launch the plane a little mote rich to start with

RE: thinning of in a turn
You may have fuel foaming issues. Check for vibration

RE: thinning of in a turn
Just do what every racer at any pylon race would do - open the needle valve more. Don't worry about foaming, how high or low the tank is, etc.
