What's legal??
While I am historically an honest pattern flier I am trying to talk my nephew into doing some racing over at Hodges this year or maybe somewhere else fairly close by. I have a half-dozen Quick V's either ready to go or under construction. Don't know how I ended up with that many, there must have been some kind of sale. Anyway, I need to know if these are still legal in Q-500 and what engines are in use that don't say Nelson on them. We're doing this for fun and are not likely to become hard core racers. Anything else I should know, a good web-site maybe?? Thanks to all.

RE: What's legal??
Rick, you're on the right site!! The quick V is fine for racing. Most districts are using the TT Pro 40 engine with a APC 9X6 sport prop. Have fun .

RE: What's legal??
Rick:
The races at Mac Hodges specify the Thunder Tiger Pro 40. Last race, we had about 16 entries, that is close to the normal amount. Come on and race. Keep an eye on Mac's website for the next race date. If you send him an e-mail, I am sure he will add you to his mailing list that will advise you of upcoming events. We need some more Alabamians to join and whip up on the Dawgs. Good Luck, Brad |
