Goldburg Extreme 330L - Wing rib repair and replacement
Howdy all,
Well my Extreme met its match and now needs some repair.
I will try and post some pics this evening when I get home but for now I will try to explain.
The leading edge back to the spars is pretty much toast. Spars are not broke in any way. There are a few pieces of the missing ribs that I can glue back together to get a general shape(I hope). All the sheeting will have to be replaced but I may be able to salvage the leading edge to help me replace and position the front of the ribs. I do believe this is a triple taper wing so it's not a matter of just trace and replace. Each rib is quite different. I have done some major wing repairs before just not this type of airfoil.
The center of the wing is not damaged nor is the wing tips so now I just have to fill in the blanks.
Any help or suggestions would be great.
Thanks, Ken
