Kind of like asking what's the best........well, anything. That would all depend on you. Everyone has their own concept of what the best is so in reality, the only way to answer the question would be that the best is the one that you feel the most comfortable with and does what you want it to do.

For now, I use a JR 9503 and a Spektrum DX6i. Having said that and knowing people I fly with that use the DX7, I would recommend that one but at the end of the day, you have to use it.

Take a trip to the LHS and see what they have available that you can hold. See how each fits your hand. See how the sticks and switches are positioned and if it's comfortable to you. If it is, and if it's in your price range, will it have enough channels for you and are the functions what you're looking for? If so, then maybe that's the one. If not, look at the other one and compare. Each brand will have it's pluses and minuses but they are all good pieces of equipment.

To me, checking out new equipment is a large part of the fun in the hobby. Enjoy it!

Just my opinion............

Hitec and Airtonics will give you more 'bang for the buck'. I didn't like the 6EX for my own reasons (unable to control dual elevator servos I think)...
What is your skill level, what kind of planes are you looking to fly, and what is your flying style?
