Default ASP Engine specs?

I bought an ASP .91 2 stroke largely due to the attractive price. The problem is that it came with Chinese instructions. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate any english instructions for it so I am at a loss as to what the appropriate break-in prop size is and after break-in, what the recommended prop range is. Does anyone know what the recommended props are for this engine before and after break-in?

Thanks

Mike

Not exactly what you need, Mike; but here are some translated instructions:

Go to the Hobby People site and look up the Magnum 91 4 stroke specs. Same engine.

Lnewqban

That is just about the funniest translation I have ever seen. It does however give me one of the recommended prop sizes.

Thank you.

Jim Dines

Thanks, I'll check out the Magnum 91 specs..

Make sure you are looking at the 2 stroke 91, and not the 4 stroke. I dont know which you have, but they have both been mentioned in this thread.

Yes, thanks. I have the two stroke and that is the Magnum spec sheet I found.

Hi!
Running in is the same for all modern ABN, AAC and ABC engines! Just run it at fairly fast ...not slobbering rich!

For a 15cc engine(.91-.90) use a 14x6 prop for general sport flying. RAM and APC are good. 15x4W and 16x4 for slow flying planes and 13x8 for faster ones.

A good glow plus is the OS 8 or Enya 3 or 4.
Rossi 3, 4 or or Nova Rossi 4, 4A or 5 are also suitable....but there are other plugs equally good.
