MR Metal Polish

Anyone ever used this product to clean the exterior of engines?

The word "polish" would concern me it a little. To me it implies a mechanical operation, as apply and rub, or buff. Virtually imposible to properly accomplish on the exterior of an engine because of the irregular surfaces.
