Eureka- HobbyPoxy part B replacement
After many months of searching I have found a hardener that will cure HobbyPoxy part A. The price is $15 for a pint and is mixed 1 part hardener to 2 parts color. I have a few more tests to run, such as resistance to the thinner when cured. When this is done I will post the name of a distributer in california that handles it. The hardener will also work with the K&B epoxy paint. I tried several mix ratios 1/1,1/2,1/3. All cured overnight and the unused portion had just starten to set up in the cup for the 1/3 mix ratio.
More to come in a few days.

Eureka- HobbyPoxy part B replacement
I know there are a lot of people out there with various amounts of part A. part B or thinner. But never the right combination of all. I got so tired of buying old dusty cans hoping to arrive at the right combination tha I made a big decision. I threw the whole lot out and now I am finished with them.

epoxy ratios
I have painted everything from cradles to jets and I have founf the best ratio for K&B or hobbyPoxy to be 1/3 colour, 1/3 hardener, and 1/3 epoxy thinner. Use and airbrush and dustcoat first cote , one or two flow coats after that. The large amount of thinner makes the flow coat smooth and also speeds up dry time.
Is there anybody out there that knows where to get clearcoat epoxy ?
