Hobbico Starfire 40 Need A Tailset
Bought a decent little Hobbico Starfire 40 from a guy with a busted tail section. The part is discontinued, any idea where Ican find one of these tailsets?Checked Ebay, nothing................

If Hobbico doesn't have it you'll probably have to make it. They might have a plan for it available but it shouldn't be too hard to get the shape right by copying the broken one.

My friend with a lot more experience than me came over tonight and took a trace of the old busted piece and already has the new one framed up. It just needs the glue to dry and then be hinged to the new elevators and then covered with monokote.
I'll post some pics when it's done, should be cool, he's going to cover the tail/elevator in solid yellow.
