Default Alternative wrapping mat'l ???

Wondering if anyone has successfully use anything other than "foam" for wrapping receivers/batteries etc.

Right in the middle of finishing up a project and ran out of foam. No big deal I guess, but it made me wonder what else might be used.
Thanks for all info.

Small size plastic "bubble-wrap". Or get to the drugstore and buy some cushion insoles (largest size) and double it up.

Default Alternative wrapping mat'l ???

Dave/Tom
Thanks for replies & info.
I'd run out of the Silicon Foam that is
usually used and I was hopping someone would have suggestion on other materials.
I did have a bunch of Bubble Wrap, and used some rolled up to fill a void after reading info here.
I went to LHS this morn and got some
more of the regulation foam.
So guess all is well now and do appreciate the info.

LT-40 is ready for maiden flite now.
Many Thanks
Ray

I collect old mouse pads from work...
The ones that are too dirty or too old for folks to use anymore, they're so cheap, and some folks bring in thier own anyway.
I seem to find one every month or so...

You wouldn't want to use my old socks!

Maybe your girl friends padded bra???

OK, that's enough.
