Default Nieuport 28 2 piece wing

My Ford Ranger has a 6 foot bed and I won't be able to carry a 80 inch wing in my truck. So, has anyone built a Balsa USA Nieuport 28 and made it into a 2 piece wing?

Thanks for any comments.

Default Ford Ranger

I have a Ford Ranger. On a weekly basis I carry 80 inch or larger wings. I put a shelf in the bed, above the tire wells. Slide the wings under it, and put the fuselage on top. I can't close the tailgate, but I bungy the wings in. I can carry two giant scale monoplanes at a time.

Thanks Tom C.
Another idea was to make a wooden box to carry both wings and hang that off the tail gate and still have room for the fuse. I do have that shelf idea already and I love that, because I can carry more smaller planes to the field.
