Electric Power Package for SPAD Ugly Stick
This is a question:
Building a SPAD Ugly Stick and would like to use electric power. It calls for a glow engine at .40 to .46 which in one chart i found is equal to about a 750 watt motor. AXI motors suggest their 2826 or 4120 motor. Could I have some help in choosing an engine, compatible ESC with switch BEC that would be appropriate for this build. I am guessing but I think the finished plane would be something in the range of 4-6 lbs but that is definitely a guess at this point. I would like to do sustained climbs with it. Would appreciate suggestions for a combo package that would fly this plane well.
Thanks
