Default Servos and plane...

Hi all; i wonder how this servo http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/futaba/s3150 could match that plane (see photo). I've 7 of those servos there NIB, waiting for to be mounted... Rudder will be a HS-645. Engine will be the new Mintor 33 Gas...
Thanks on advance!!!

51oz of torque on a gasser aerobat? I certainly wouldn't do it.

The manufacturer should have recommendations for servo torque. You might do a search for your particular model to see what others are running. A lot of the choice depends on how you plan to fly it. Loops and rolls don't require as much servo as 3D does.

the servos you are wanting to use seem weak to me.......you should be able to find the servo specs somewhere or e-mail the manufacturer

In general if the mfg doesn't tell you the requirements, you should have at least 1 oz-in of torque for every square inch of control surface, minimum.

I know in Italy the prices will be different but do yourself a favor and go onto Servo City's web site and just look at the servos and different power you can get for the money. Karbonite gears are not wanted in a gasser but neither is a servo for only 4.8 volts. Just read up on the different servos and you will get a better idea of what you would want. That looks to be a 1/4 scale and the servos you have may be just a bit light. Use the biggest servo you can on that rudder.
Nice looking plane too!!!

Well, thanks for the comments; I get for this plane 5 Hitec HS-645MG; torque @4.8V: 106.9 oz-in (7.70 kg-cm); about U$S 27 each in TH.
