Any suggested sources for fiberglass wheel pants? I'm looking for some about 8" long to cover a 3" wheel in a 120 size plane.

FGS is the best. I deal with them all the time and their work is excellent. They have molds for planes that haven't been in existance for over 25 years. What they do is when you make your order, they make it right on the spot. At times I've had to wait for a few weeks for my cowl, but sometimes we get lucky and he has one already made.


If he doesn't have your model, what he will do is tell you no that he doesn't have it, but if enough people ask about the same pants or cowl, then he will make a mold for it. I had a problem finding a cowl for my Neptune Seaplane. He doesn't make the Neptune Cowl, but he makes the Seamaster cowls and the .40 Seamaster cowl is the exact same. So in other words- sometimes I have to look for something else to find what I need for something different. [&:]

There is a place called fibertech n more. They bought Stans Fibertech. I've heard they have pretty good products. I guy at our field has one of their cowls and its holding up nicely.

Just another option.
