Default help on what prop

i have a .91 on a yak 54 whith a 14-8 prop butt it comes in fast at landing what prop do i need to run thanks

It may not be a prop issue. For level flight does it require up trim? If so it is landing fast because it's nose heavy.

I don't have that particular model but setting airplanes up nose heavy is a common mistake. You didn't answer the question about the up trim. When you maidened, did you have to put in up trim?

Assuming the CG is good and you are flying a proper approach(angle and speed) and the plane will not slow down, there are two things you can do. If it appears the idle is to high, lower your idle setting. Propwise, you can try a 15X6 or 16X6. The lower pitch will give you less thrust at low RPM and maybe help your landing speed.
