Default mounting tank across fuz.

hi

I am mounting a tank on the cg and as the fuz is very wide (Staudacher) I am thinking about mounting it across the fuz instead of in the lenght.
Is this ok ?

Thanks
Tim

Default mounting tank across fuz.

As long as you can get the fuel to the engine with no problems in all flight attitudes, it really doesn't matter how you mount it. Just make sure there isn't something in there to pinch the lines in flight.

Default Not a good idea

I have scrapped this idea as it has been pointed out to me that the clunk will not move freely from side to side and that
fuel starvation will occur in a sharp turn to one side.
