Need info about Sky Raider II
I need some info and help on a sky raider mach II. I got the plane in ARC form there were no instructions, I got instructions for the arf from world models web site but could not find any info about the ARC version. I need to know what the wing dihedral is and if the is to be any wing incidence or engine incidence. Any help would be great.
Thanks

RE: Need info about Sky Raider II
I am confused; I assume ARC means Almost Ready to Cover?
In this case I would think it would be an uncovered ARF?
If this were the case then the dihedral and incidence would already be set.
On my Mach II with the port wing flat on the table the bottom of the spar
on the starboard side is 1 7/16" above the table.
I hope this helps,

You are right it is a ready to cover plane but the wing halfs need to be joined, and there is always a chance that there is some wing or engine incidence.
Thanks for the info you did provide it will help alot and thanks for your time.
thanks

Rduff, we use these planes ( the arf's) in our Club 40 pylon racing series. You should have a plywood wing dihedral piece in your parts bags. Slip it in one slot of one wing and dry test fit it with sliding the other wing onto the other side. Just slightly push the wings together and you should have no gap at the wing joint.
Last year I did have one of my new skyraiders that I was putting together have a mismatched end wing root that was not cut properly. I had to shave the dihedral brace down to get the wing together correctly.
The firewall, if it is already installed on yours will be set up correctly. Put that sucker together and go fly and have fun!
Just a fyi, if you want to see lots of skyraiders hanging out together, have a look here .
