all it says is 2700mAh or larger for receiver and 1500mAh or larger for ignition (4.8 or 6.0V)

me i was going to run a ar7000 a Hobbico HydriMax NiMH 6.0V 4200mAh and a 2700mah 4.8v for the ignition and to run a small 6inch "y" harness to tie in the ailerons cause im puting a kill on it

WrongWayRC.com has battery setups. On my 50cc planes (3 of them) I use a single 2300Mah A123 with a dual ouptut. Both go to JR Heavy Duty Charge Switches. One then goes to the reciever, one goes to the igntion with a drop down diode he also sells.

4 flights and charge.

For servos I use 7955TG's that you can get in multi packs from Chief Aircraft.

Basic set up, two switches for flight controls, one for ignition. One flight battery can be used to save a few bucks. The plane controls are 2 elevators 2 aileron servos 1rudder servo and one throttle servo. That's about it. Basic set up. No regulators, no optical kill switch. The kill switch will be installed soon but it isn't really needed. Just a small safety thing in case I loose the throttle arm or servo. It just kills power to the engine if the plane looses signal.

It wont be a "small thing" if you loose a throttle arm or servo

Ask me how I know, and how long a 46cc engine will fly around on 3/4 tank of fuel.

At just fast enough not to be able to land.

At an event with 100 pilots waiting to fly.

A G-62 with a 22 ounce tank right after take off. I had to have one of the guys bring me out a chair. It's not a must have item but it is a nice thing to have when you need it. Fail safe is another good thing to have on the throttle. I have seen several out of control planes at fly ins where a fail safe on the throttle would have been handy. With all we have these days we could go on and on about items that are nice to have on board but the OP is looking for easy and cheap. Basic is the set up we have used for too many years to think about. It works but if you have the money and room there are a lot of better systems to use. I'm just running the basic tests with this plane. I need a pocket full of money to get it finished the way I want it. For now, basic will work.

Just what do you need photos of?? Just for grins have you gone into the gas engine forum and looked around any of the threads about set up. There is nothing different about setting up the plane itself. Just where you place things to keep them away from the ignition. What is it you need to know?
